An icky day

It has been a rough day in this Johnson household. I was expecting a pretty good day because David was off. I thought we would go to lunch and maybe go swimming after nap. Change of plans. David broke out in a really bad rash last night and woke up this morning with his eyes swollen almost shut. Noah was in a foul mood most of the day. Maybe he is teething, not sure. He whined all day and drove me crazy. When this evening rolled around I said we must get out of the house. We went to the park in Ft Oglethorpe. That must have been just what Noah needed. He had so much fun. He climbed on everything and just walked around from slide to slide. It was really cute to watch him play. We haven't been there since he has been walking. We played long enough to wear him so that we could put him in bed when we got back. He has been asleep for about an hour now and as crazy as he made me today I am ready to go again. April once said you usually only need about a 30 minute break from your kids and I must agree. After about half an hour I am missing him. Noah has been so much fun lately. He is jabbering so much and learning to play alone. I love watching him figure things out although this usually leads to a tantrum when things don't go his way. I wish I would have taken my camera to the park but didn't. I pray that tomorrow is a better day. Oh yeah, David is doing better.
